Kentucky Bourbon Festival Exclusive Drops! (Larrikin Australia Series Flight)
Sep 4, 2026
Welcome to Bourbon Bytes! Tonight, we are tracking down some of the most elusive bottles dropping at the 2026 Kentucky Bourbon Festival. Larrikin Bourbon Co. has teamed up with Australian-raised distiller Greg Keeley to release an exceptionally limited "Australia Series"—and they are ONLY available on-site in Bardstown this weekend!
We are tasting all three cask-strength expressions side-by-side. The base spirit is an incredible 11-year-old Old Elk high-rye bourbon, split into three wild, distinct Aussie cask finishes. We dive into a rich, mouth-coating Manuka Honey finish, an earthy Golden Wattle botanical gin cask, and a Sugar Cane Rum finish that drinks like a premium Barbados rum. Spoiler alert: The Manuka Honey takes the crown tonight, but the Rum is a massive flavor bomb you won't want to miss.
Grab a pour, jump into the chat, and let's break down these exclusive drops!
