Scott Fitzgerald’s iconic novel “The Great Gatsby” a century ago. Legend has it, Fitzgerald’s titular character ‘Jay Gatsby’ was inspired by Remus. A blend of two mashbills, this cask strength comes in with aromas of dried candied fruit and caramelized pecans with flavors of oak and cherry. 18:11 Knob Creek 18 Year Old Bourbon ($170) - 100 Proof ‍‍Knob Creek 18 Year is a limited edition release and is the oldest Knob Creek release to date. According to the press release, “Three decades ago, Booker Noe, grandson of Jim Beam and Sixth Generation Master Distiller, set out to define the standards for pre-prohibition style bourbon and introduced Knob Creek.” Knob Creek 18 Year “celebrates the 30th Anniversary of Knob Creek.” 26:30 Bardstown Bourbon Company Collaborative Series Goose Island BCBS Barrel Finished Bourbon ($170) - 111.4 proof The Bardstown Bourbon Co.’s Collaborative Series is a celebration of kindred spirits.
